On Sunday, May 25th WAKE Ministries and MERNA Church of Kpalime organized their 2nd distribution of Sacks of Hope in Kpalime. This time Pastor Roger went to see the area chief to see about people in the community who are really in need during this time. The area chief brought many of them to the distribution and this touched the chief a lot by seeing how we are willing to serve the people. Pastor Roger said that they have noticed how people are recognizing their need for God and it is changing their perception of the church. If the government allowed churches to open today, they know they would see many of these people coming to church. During this second distribution in Kpalime, we were able to reach 147 families bringing the total for Sacks of Hope to 369 families. What started out as a plan to reach the 43 families in the church has grown immensely which is all to God’s glory and praise.
